The arrival of our once-a-year treats:
Peanut Creams and Oysters*
When the State Fair came to town, the candymakers made these two special treats to highlight the fresh, natural goodness of our vanilla cream. Peanut Creams are dipped in milk chocolate, rolled in ground, Spanish peanuts that are freshly roasted in our 1900s-era roaster. Oysters are dipped in dark chocolate and rolled in sweet Macaroon coconut.
*Why are they called Oysters? It's a name that's been handed down for generations of candymakers, but even we don't know the origin
